London’s fatberg will be turned into Biodiesel

The 130-tonne fatberg from London’s sewer system is highly demanded. The museum of London wants to display a part of it “to raise questions about how we live today”. A Scottish company wants to turn it into biodiesel. The sludge is heated to melt the fat which is then processed into biodiesel. The UK government has just raised its targets for the percentage of renewable fuel in petrol and diesel to just under 10% by 2020.
