Indonesia runs road test for B40

A road test with diesel fuel containing 40% biodiesel has been started in Indonesia. The test will examine the use of B40 in 12 of the most popular passenger car models and commercial vehicles over 50,000 km and 40,000 km, respectively. During and after the test run, each vehicle will be thoroughly tested to examine the impact of the fuels on everything from engine power, torque, fuel consumption to emission levels. The Ministry of Energy there hopes the testing will determine whether B40 is suitable for public use by the end of the year.
