Two English companies to purchase biodiesel plants in Amsterdam

Greenergy, UK’s largest manufacturer of biodiesel from waste, is to purchase an idle biodiesel manufacturing facility from Oiltanking in Amsterdam. The facility was built in 2010 to process vegetable oils. Greenergy is planning to convert it to process waste oils and to add further production capacity.
Argent Energy Group, a large scale biodiesel production company in the UK that uses wastes from food and meat processing, is to acquire a biodiesel production, tank storage and cleaning facility from Biodiesel Amsterdam. The acquisition of the Netherlands facility represents the first step for Argent Energy to replicate its business outside the UK.
